Tim & Kasey’s Wedding

Wednesday, September 26th, 2012

Tim & Kasey’s wedding evening turned out as beautiful as the couple looked. The ceremony was held under a white tent in the beautiful August outdoors with the sound of the fountain in the background. The groom looked amazing in his 3 piece tux however it was the bride who stole the show. Kasey made a stunning bride in her breathtaking white strapless satin ball gown & with hints of fun right to her blue nail polish.  The reception hall was adorned with pops of yellow and blue everywhere. From the yellow roses to the sparkling blue gems that graced the tables when walking into the reception hall. Elegance was everywhere. It was such an honor to be a part of Tim & Kasey’s wedding day. We are so happy for them and wish them a wonderful future as they enbark on their happily ever after. Congratulations Mr & Mrs Ellyson!

Louisville Engagement Photography Session | Adam & Erin

Sunday, June 17th, 2012

After 27 years Erin had no plans of falling in love or getting married however faint had other things in mind. It could be chalked up to an amazing glass of wine, the luck of the Irish, or her friends throwing a killer party. Either way, Erin walked into that party expecting nothing more than a fun evening with friends. Especially not to meet her future husband. However Adam immediately took notice of the her carefree spirit and a laugh that could light a room. They hit it off and chatted in the corner until the early hours of the morning like there was no one else in the room. They were inseparable from that moment. Was it Love at First Sight? Well it took a couple of months of Erin refusing to admit that she had fallen completely head over heels for this man before she finally realized that in an amazing twist of fate. She had found a man who would love her for who she is. Two Years have past and they can’t imagine life apart.

I felt so honored to be asked to take Adam & Erin’s Engagement Pictures. They are some of the most genuine people I have ever met and it isn’t hard for anyone to see just how perfect they are for each other.

Our Family Adventure to Louisville Ky

Wednesday, April 4th, 2012

Well the Rettig family has been on quite the journey these past years. And it reminds me how blessed we really are. Growing up in NY & PA we were surround by family and friends from childhood on up. After that we spent 2 yrs living in the beautiful Rocky Mountains of Vail, CO were I (Kersandra) learned so much by working at the Ritz Carlton and Dano had fun running a ski shop. Both these jobs were a great learning experience for us on business management and offering the highest level of customer service. After that we decided to settle down and start looking toward building a family. So we moved to Colorado Springs, CO. A beautiful city with the small town feel. We made many friends and had all 3 of our children there. In the same hospital as well. We spent 6 yrs in Colorado Springs but in 2012 the Lord brought us to a new chapter in our life. Towards the end of 2011 we realized just how far we were away from that family and friends we grew up with. And making sure our children had that same care and love that we both experienced growing up is so very important to us. So after some research and some surveying we made the leap back towards the east cost
and landed in Louisville, Kentucky!

After a very long drive and a whole lot of packing and unpacking we are here! We have been here for a little less than a month now and what an experience it has been. We have experienced some crazy weather, the fierce rivalry between two sports teams, the vibrant green landscapes, the beautiful parks, some local dinning, and most importantly the friendliness of the locals.

We are looking forward to fully taking advantage of all that Louisville, KY offers us. I, for one, am really looking forward to the Kentucky Derby and the great Fire Works show this summer. We have already ventured into the city a little bit and visited many parks like the Waterfront Park and the Tom Sawyer Park among a few. This weekend Daniel & I are going to be taking our first date-night to the city. This will also be our first time away from the kids in quite a while as well so we’re not sure if we are going to go do a little more exploring or just take advantage of the down-time and catch a movie. Either way we’ll be sure to make the most of it.
